“Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are his delight.” — Proverbs 12:22
Fake news rarely presents itself as a complete and total lie. It works far more imperceptibly than that. While outright fabrication absolutely happens, fake news is often produced through the deliberate and wilful manipulation of the public record: selective coverage, calculated omission and editorial gatekeeping disguised as professional judgement.
The public is deliberately prevented from seeing stories and evidence that might cause them to question the official narrative. What remains is not the full factual record, but a carefully managed fragment of it. The inevitable result is a deeply distorted perception of reality.
The BBC actively prevents stories that conflict with the top-tier Establishment agenda from ever reaching the public, hiding behind the false and convenient guise of “editorial judgement”. Even when the scale of public concern forces it to confront an issue, it can still evade meaningful accountability—burying an announcement on a complaints message board, far away from its main news website, where very few people will ever see it.
This is not merely fake news or hidden news. It is the deliberate engineering of the public record, and it enables the BBC to participate in and proliferate smear campaigns while continuing to present itself as impartial.
A recent example is its “editorial decision” not to cover Rupert Lowe’s independent inquiry into the rape gangs scandal. The BBC attempted to justify its decision by claiming that the Government’s inquiry was “more thorough” because it possessed statutory powers to compel witnesses and documents.
Yet Rupert Lowe’s inquiry heard harrowing evidence and raised grave questions of national importance. The BBC nevertheless chose to keep millions of licence fee payers largely in the dark.
It was only forced to address that decision because of the sheer scale of public concern. In just the first six weeks of 2026, Ofcom received 4,720 complaints relating to the BBC’s failure to cover Mr Lowe’s inquiry.
We know this pattern only too well at Lighthouse Global. When the BBC tried to destroy Lighthouse, it deliberately elevated the claims of a handful of people with clear vested interests, longstanding grievances and/or previous conflicts with us.
On one side, five hours of one-sided, fabricated and malicious allegations were granted airtime.
On the other hand, Lighthouse was repeatedly denied a fair and equivalent opportunity—both before and after broadcast—to present the evidence that fully vindicated us and comprehensively answered those allegations.
The BBC even stated on record in its own programme that it had chosen not to receive our evidence: evidence that would totally and categorically debunk the claims made by its malicious sources.
The result was a diabolical, one-sided work of fiction presented to viewers as journalism, despite contrary evidence being readily available and repeatedly offered to the BBC.
Important context: We had made it completely clear that the BBC was producing its programme without first examining our evidence. A mere eight working days before broadcast, it reluctantly offered to view that evidence—after committing itself to the programme and while refusing to guarantee that our evidence would be used or published.
Given its nefarious intentions and its previous conduct, we elected not to supply material that we had every reason to believe could be withheld, distorted or abused. We explained this directly and unambiguously to the BBC by email before broadcast.
That is not honest journalism. It is not impartial reporting. It is not the full factual record.
It is the same dangerous pattern: fan the flames of malicious allegations. Silence the targets selected by the top-tier Establishment. Conceal the evidence that destroys the approved narrative. Then present the resulting fiction as fearless investigative journalism.
The BBC’s modus operandi is to scour the darkest recesses of the internet for supposedly credible people—often treated as credible merely because they do not possess a criminal record—who carry vendettas against Establishment targets. Their lies, grievances and opinions are then elevated and presented to the viewing and listening public as established fact.
The public is left with an incomplete, distorted and deeply false picture of reality: a palpably falsified public record masquerading as truth.
In other words: fake news.
This is one of the most powerful and dangerous forms of fake news because most viewers never realise they have been deceived. The evidence is not always directly argued against; it is simply kept away from them altogether. People cannot evaluate what they have never been permitted to see.
That is why we challenge every reader: whenever you watch, hear or read anything produced by the BBC, ask yourself:
- What is the agenda here?
- Why are they showing me this particular version of events?
- What evidence, testimony or context may be concealed from me?
- What ought they to be showing me instead?
Commit yourself ardently to asking those questions, and a pattern soon becomes visible. You begin to see how the BBC manipulates individuals and the masses through selective facts, managed narratives and what are, at absolute best, dangerous part-truths.
As a direct result of the attacks on Lighthouse, we are legally, lawfully and peacefully fighting for the full and comprehensive right to reply to every falsehood—with the same time, money and effort granted to our false accusers for the purposes of their smear campaign: five hours of broadcast and resources worth at least tens of millions of pounds.
This principle does not apply only to Lighthouse. It applies to every individual, family, group and organisation the BBC has maliciously attacked while denying an equivalent opportunity to present the evidence and correct the public record.
That would constitute genuinely impartial, unbiased and unprejudiced reporting—everything the BBC is provably failing to provide while continuing, deceptively, to claim that it does.

The example of Rupert Lowe’s report being utterly neglected compared with what happened to Lighthouse is a powerful one. To me it seems quite clear that those the BBC had chosen to label as an enemy, like Mr Lowe or Paul Waugh, it cannot afford to paint in any kind of good light. That’s why they didn’t want to cover the rape gang inquiry which was, no doubt about it, a great service to the British public after years of corruption. And certainly showed a different side to Mr Lowe than what they want. They cannot afford that so they keep the public in the dark. Similarly it is also why they didn’t not want to receive the evidence that would totally reveal Paul to be other than what they made him out to be.
Anyone who still thinks that the BBC is fair, honest and impartial is utterly delusion, whether by choice or not.
This clearly lays out the categoric case that the BBC is not impartial, despite claiming to be, and that what we see in the light isn’t necessarily all there is at all! We know that first hand. It is only when people like Paul S. Waugh, Lighthouse Global, and many others come together to highlight this truth and hold them accountable that these issues are brought into the light.
As stated here, there has often been no meaningful accountability, with matters being swept away into the next 24-hour news cycle. However, they are slowly learning that this is not the case with us.
May God have mercy on us and on them.
The BBC are masters of reporting ‘facts’ but leaving out crucial context!
Like when they reported that ‘over 100,000 people attended the Unite the Kingdom march in Central London.’ Technically they are right, more than 100,000 people did turn up – 2.9 million more people turned up! That context of millions of people marching in London would be lost on anyone who was only hearing their broadcast and yet it changes the picture and sentiment of the people marching dramatically.
This is just one example of how The BBC will choose to ignore whole situations – like the gruesome Pakistani rape gangs – and just tell you only the selected facts they want you to know and be fearful of.
The BBC literally muzzles and censors whoever they want to get whatever story they want out to feed the masses with lies and deception. The term “fake news” is rapidly expanding in breadth and depth for me through these updates. God bless Citizen BBC Verify, the REAL verification the BBC needs… it’s time the BBC reaped what they sowed in lies and consequences. They need to be held legally and lawfully accountable, and I can see that happening in real time here. Thank you.
The BBC cannot call themselves journalists. They do not deserve such a title. A true and honest title for their staff ought to be “propagandists”. They are deniers, perverters, abusers and hiders of any and every truth that goes against the Establishment they serve. When a well and fully informed, educated, empowered and enlightened public would be the worst possible scenario for an institution like the BBC, that ought to tell you all you need to know about them and their real purpose.
What you are reporting here is an abomination. The BBC cover up stories that relate to anyone connected with the BBC, yet they will send countless millions of forced tax payers money to report falsehoods. Choosing not to do a broadcast on what Rupert Lowe has uncovered is withholding critical information from the public that we need to understand.
I pray for all in the BBC, for the reports that have been swept under the carpets. For the tampering and altering transcripts and audios in order to be seen as angels of light.
I am so grateful for what you are bringing to us, God bless us all…
Shame, shame, shame on the BBC, this is repulsive.
The BBC has extensive reach and to intentionally not to use that opportunity to report on the many young vulnerable girls being, groomed, raped and trafficked, is one of the most evil things I have ever witnessed!
Thank you so much for shining a light on these dark areas of the BBC and its operations. It is important to ask ourselves why the BBC chooses to report on certain issues but not others, and why it chooses to report on them in a particular way. The way it reported on Rupert Lowe’s rape gang report, and the way it reported on Lighthouse Global, clearly shows the BBC’s hidden agendas and how it seeks to manipulate, influence, and control the public through malinformation and disinformation and fake news!
This is an abomination. The BBC by not covering Rupert Lowe’s Pakistani Muslim rape Gang report for the reasons they have are just showing absolute contempt for the British public. They are also showing an absolute masterclass in malinformation and how fake news is so subtle.
I found this revealing, seeing the omission just as much what is false can be just as influential as what is included. A big word here is context, and how important is it and the opportunity to hear different sides to get to the far side of complex issues in pursuit of truth. This raises serious questions about transparency, balance and trust in journalism, not just the BBC. I wholesale change is need, a more citizen leads industry is warranted, when journalism meant a genuine public service.
The BBC treatment of information that is inconvenient to them and their reputation is diabolical. A well-raised schoolchild is more able to take responsibility than the BBC! In the case of A Very British Cult, as events played out in real time, I was amazed at the sheer level of hubris exhibited.
Here were a couple of questions asked by Shaun Cooper to Tim Davie (then BBC Director General) and Ravin Sampat (then BBC Head of UK Insight) in the days before the BBC broadcast.
Q1. In terms of Section 3 of the Editorial Guidelines re: Accuracy, what evidence do you have to show that you, on behalf of the BBC, are being ‘open to what you don’t know’? How have you avoided being guilty of unfounded speculation, given you have rejected the evidence we have offered? How is the BBC ensuring all the facts are being presented fairly and impartially?
Q2. The BBC Guidelines in relation to Whistleblowers state, “While corroborating their story, it is important to consider any ulterior motives they might have.” Why have you not investigated the ulterior motives sufficiently?
Over 3 years later and still no response at all!!
In the case of Rupert Lowe, the BBC watched him on the Joe Rogan podcast, but all they reported on was Mr Lowe’s comments about the Dunblane shootings. Yet, still no mention of the rape gangs, despite the thousands of complaints from the public to Ofcom!
