This article is about a 10 minute read.
BBC Inner Eye is an initiative by Citizen Intervention Global and Lighthouse Global. It is here to investigate wrongdoing, hypocrisy, and abuses of power inside the BBC — applying to the BBC the same standards and scrutiny it applies to everyone else.
The BBC’s Claim: “We Hold Power To Account”
The BBC repeatedly tells the British public it exists to challenge wrongdoing and “hold power to account” — through initiatives such as BBC Verify and BBC Eye.
“BBC Eye brings you original documentary investigations from around the world – revealing secrets, rooting out injustice, and exposing crime, corruption, and abuse wherever we find them. Nothing stays hidden forever.” (Source: BBC World Service)
The Missing Investigation: The BBC Investigating Itself
There is one institution the BBC and its initiatives never investigate:
The BBC.
The BBC never reveals its own secrets to the public
It never roots out injustice within
It never exposes its own crime or corruption
The BBC never actively looks for its own abuse of children or even its own staff
Why isn’t the BBC Eye looking at themselves?
They declare and appoint themselves as a “divine authority” over everyone else
We created BBC Inner Eye because no institution should be exempt from the scrutiny it demands of others — especially an institution force-funded by the licence-fee paying public and possessing immense narrative power for their Establishment overlords.
The Diabolical Double Standard
For decades, the BBC has aggressively targeted and questioned politicians, businesses, public figures, independent organisations, and ordinary citizens in front of its global audience.
They target anyone who is a threat at any level; ideologically, politically, culturally, Theochristologically, to their Establishment overlords and their anti-Christ agenda.
- Lives have been ruined and lost.
- Careers have been destroyed.
- Reputations have been decimated.
- The BBC has shaped narratives in the court of public opinion before it properly examined the evidence.
Yet, when scrutiny turns toward the BBC, that same scrutiny is reframed as:
- “harassment”
- “conspiracy”
- “an attack on democracy”
Every self-respecting citizen globally (not just the UK) ought to reject this abhorrent and diabolical two-tier state of journalism.
Disturbing Testimonies of Whistleblowers Inside the BBC
BBC Inner Eye is calling for internal whistleblowers — both current and former BBC employees — to come forward confidentially with information.
Former BBC staff members —both current and former staff— have already approached us with deeply troubling allegations about workplace culture and internal intimidation.
These brave individuals have told us clearly that they feared for their careers if they spoke out about the BBC. They knew that if they put their names out in public, their careers would be over.
That is why we put measures in place to protect anonymity for whistleblowers. See the end of this article for details.
These accounts include claims from individuals who say they personally knew BBC employees who were warned they could lose their jobs if they exposed concerns relating to Rolf Harris and his sexual abuse of children during his years at the BBC.
One former producer described BBC celebrities as:
“Unimpeachable. I mean they were held in the highest possible order…You could never criticise them. I know loads of people who worked with him [Rolf Harris]… I had a friend who had to fight hard to fight hard for female colleagues to make sure Adam Hart-Davis was never seen on screen again…I got propositioned..”
We have also heard first-hand accounts by insiders of “cocaine bosses”, as well as being forced into instances of abuse for the sake of climbing the career ladder.
This video of Lighthouse Global Associates Jatinder Kamra and Daniel Schmitz was recorded in May 2024, as part of our investigative work into the BBC.
We have also received allegations describing a workplace culture in which certain BBC producers allegedly attempted to manipulate or seduce young employees through access to Class A drugs and status.
We will scrutinise these allegations properly.
We have already seen that those who whistleblow publicly can be hounded out of the organisation — as can be seen in how Tim Davie handled the Jimmy Savile crisis. Instead of wanting justice for victims, he wanted to protect the reputation of the BBC.
Why Lighthouse Created Citizen BBC Verify
We at Lighthouse Global and Citizen Intervention Global created Citizen BBC Verify to show the gap between:
- what the BBC says it is, and
- what the BBC does in practice.
For example: the charter it actually lives by is very different to its written charter.
If the BBC believes in transparency, transparency must apply to the BBC.
If the BBC believes in accountability, accountability must apply to the BBC.
If the BBC believes no institution should be above scrutiny, neither should the BBC.
What BBC Inner Eye Will Investigate
BBC Inner Eye will investigate patterns such as:
- Where and how the BBC has protected child-abusers amongst its staff and peers
- Who has been involved in the cover up of the institutional abuse of children, not just sexual
- All instances of the BBC Savile Syndrome past and present
- Who has been involved in organising, maintaining and protecting a paedophilic statue outside its headquarters
- How the BBC uses lying and fake sources to target its victims
- The extent of the anti-Christian and anti-Christ agenda at the BBC
- Cases where individuals or organisations have been maliciously and deliberately targeted or misrepresented (such as with Sir Cliff Richard)
- Institutional hypocrisy within the BBC
- Failures of accountability
- Double standards in journalism and reporting that hide and deflect from their own chronic problems and deceit
- The use of “toxic framing”
- Nepotism and Establishment entanglement (including where the BBC colludes with the UK Government for its diabolical hit-pieces)
- Instances of actual emotional, mental, physical and sexual abuse at the BBC
- A culture of tyrannical power and self-protection
- How the BBC focuses and spends its resources at the public’s expense
- Biases and prejudices that can objectively be evidenced (such as with President Donald Trump)
- The BBC’s terminology: demonising labels and phrases such as the word “cult”— how accurate, fair, or deliberately misleading they are
- Issues of life-critical importance to the public that the BBC ought to be covering but refuses to cover — i.e. the problems, solutions and opportunities that the British and global public need to be alerted to
- The enforcement of a licence fee with criminal consequences that devastate and ruin the lives of the public, especially the elderly
Case Study: How the BBC Manipulates Reality
We know from our own experience of the BBC’s hit-piece, “A Very British Cult”, how the BBC manipulates and edits recordings to remove crucial context.
The result is typical of their diabolical work:
- the BBC denies the public the whole truth and gives it a pseudo-documentary
- the BBC warps the “facts” and falsely edits them to fit a narrative it decided in advance.
We have literally hundreds of instances detailed and documented where the BBC has lied, deceived and manipulated the British public in their programme.
👉
For those unfamiliar, here is a short clip demonstrating one of the many deceptive means of toxic framing the BBC employed in our case:
Why This Matters
No organisation in Britain possesses the level of narrative influence that the BBC does. It shapes:
- public opinion
- political discourse
- reputations and careers
- national conversations
We cannot permit an institution with that level of power to operate without meaningful external scrutiny.
For too long, the BBC has acted as though accountability is for everyone else.
That era is over.
Citizen BBC Verify and BBC Inner Eye are making sure of that.
An Invitation To Whistleblow On The BBC
For decades, the BBC has cultivated an image of moral authority while too often avoiding the scrutiny it demands of others.
We are asking readers, journalists, former employees, current staff members, researchers, and members of the public to support this initiative.
If you have information, testimony, documents, recordings, or evidence relating to:
- misconduct
- corruption
- intimidation
- abuse of power
- editorial manipulation
- institutional cover-ups
…contact Lighthouse Global in confidence — you can do so anonymously if needed.

Yes, this is so so badly needed. Imagine if there was just ONE documentary investigation on the true inside of the BBC, the secrets and the criminal wrongdoing they don’t want anyone to know about. They’re happy to make falsified hit-pieces about targets for the Establishment, but never ever dare look at themselves. Hearing Jatinder and Daniel talk about “cocaine bosses” and reading what the former staff member said is shocking but I know it’s barely the tip of the iceberg. God bless and protect all involved in this work of BBC Inner Eye. Well overdue.
What you are outlining in this article is well overdue. I say that because the BBC, as you are highlighting, has neglected to do investigations on their own employees, instead they are swept under the carpet.
I value BBC Inner Eye, doing the work of investigating and reporting the facts once a thorough investigation has been carried out. The BBC needs to be held accountable, and not allowed to threaten the elderly, forcing them to pay a license fee, (and more) that is disgraceful.
Thank you for sharing this article, I look forward to learning more…
Thank you for launching and sharing this incredibly timely and much-needed BBC Inner Eye initiative. Over these past weeks, we have both shared and demonstrated the lack of accountability within the BBC for serious wrongs — some of the worst kinds — that take place within its own walls. Yet too often, those who most need to be reported on and held accountable internally are not, or at least not to the same extent as those outside the BBC.
The seeking and examination must first begin within, as I myself am learning, and as the BBC also needs to learn and will learn through this. Thank you and may God be with us all.
This is so sorely needed! Yes! Thank you. It amazes me how arrogant and full of hubris the BBC is that it continues to point the finger everywhere else but itself when it has such a sordid, debauched and depraved history. And it’s not just a few isolated cases, but there are examples all over the place. They cover up and they brush things off. They palm off victims of Savile with measly financial scraps as offerings and then put a protective glass frame around the paedophilic statue on their very front of house. It’s diabolical to say the least. Also, it’s not just what they do, but it’s also all the things they DON’T do and leave out, what they don’t report on and omit from their stories and features as well. Yes. This is so very very welcomed and at a time where the public is far more switched on to what the BBC actually is than ever. Thank God.
This is so needed! The British public are increasingly sickened by BBC hypocrisy.
The BBC is proud of boasting that its Founder, Lord Reith, fell in love with a teenage boy and was obsessed with a 12-year-old girl as someone in his twenties. With this in mind, it’s tragically no surprise that we see so many paedophiles come from the BBC.
The video from Jatinder and Daniel about cocaine bosses at the BBC was a shock at the time, but now not a surprise. The thing is that when looking closer at a rotten institution like the BBC, it can only get worse, not better. What I mean is I do not see there being a shining light of goodness and righteousness at the core and at the top of the leadership chain.
Yet there are too many who are unaware of this and what their licence fee is funding. True justice for the BBC and all affected is needed desperately.
The BBC never fail to bemuse us with their delusional and bold claims that they are “revealing secrets, rooting out injustice, and exposing crime, corruption, and abuse wherever we find them.,” whilst they themselves are full to and spilling over the brim with the very same thing whilst conveniently and wilfully choosing not to expose and investigate their own gross failings. They have tried to deflect attention away from their own nefarious and ongoing insidious actions by focusing on others in the name of the public interest but have instead exposed their lack of integrity and conscientious character.
As they say, “nothing stays hidden forever,” and we have given many examples of how this is true in their case. Through their unfounded attacks on us, they exposed exactly who they are behind their paragon of virtue false image and the public have rightly lost trust in their words since their actions are incongruent with those words.
This is a much needed and damning article which provides another reference for why the BBC are nothing short of redundant and a burden on the global public.
Thank you, this is such an important and much-needed initiative. Through conversations with a number of people who currently work, or previously worked, at the BBC, it has become increasingly clear how deeply unhealthy and corrupted the organisation has become. The many scandals over recent years and decades have only reinforced that reality.
Too often, the BBC appears determined to avoid serious self-examination, yet truth has a way of coming to light regardless of how deeply it is buried. Real and lasting change can only begin when there is honesty, accountability, and courage from within.
I pray for all those who have been harmed, silenced, used, or abused within and around the BBC, and for those who are now willing to stand up for truth, justice, and genuine reform.
Thank you for this – BBC Inner Eye is so needed. I find the fact that the BBC is the first to criticise virtually every one else that it is not connected to but doesn’t look at itself the personification of evil. I have had first hand experience of how the BBC closes ranks even when they are shown to have got information wrong. They will do anything they can to protect their falsely achieved reputation of being credible. And that reputation is being eroded at an extremely fast rate.
It’s telling when you have an organisation scrutinising others when they[ve got an heinous past themselves. The distaste I have in my mouth when looking at the BBC. They’re essentially lying to the public, acting as someone looking after society. while doing the very same things they trying to shame others for. That’s evil
It’s so necessary for have a spotlight on these people.
The BBC have zero credibility to investigate anyone considering their own track record. You don’t trust an arsonist to be chief of police for this very reason. They have no right to point fingers at anyone. BBC Inner Eye is desperately needed as is Citizen BBC Verify because it simply isn’t right that the BBC should continue to operate as they do, claiming to be bastions of truth and impartiality with such a sordid past that they keep trying to pretend doesn’t matter.
Great news
Every single industrial sector, profession and business activity has a body to govern it. They promote best practice / training and to hold those who abuse trust and who act criminally in that profession to account.
But when you complain to The BBC about The BBC, you get a reply drafted by the people you are complaining about.
When you complain to the broadcasting complaints commission about The BBC, you learn it is staffed by people who used to work for… The BBC.
Unlike any other organisation, The BBC is only policed by, The BBC. This feedback loop, the self supporting confirmation bias doesn’t lead to a better BBC, it is there to just cover up whatever wrong doing they want and to justify their own chosen narratives.
An independent scrutinising body for The BBC is essential and long overdue.
The more I learn about the corruption within the BBC, the more I pray that ex- or even current staff come forward and share their experiences. I pray for all who work there because if this is the kind of organisation they want to be associated with, God help them…
